Emerald & Ash Semper Fidelis and Stars and Stripes Forever

Hello everyone!  I hope all has been well with you guys!  Today I have two more blends to share from Emerald & Ash.  Both of these are part of their Armed Forces Collection and are wonderful combinations.  I have had a few more issues with pesky bars but that's expected from those guys.

First up I would like to share Semper Fidelis.  This one is a lovely combination of black, gold, and red glitter.  The black and gold seemed to have no issues at all (gold does have a reflective curl but does not cause any issues) but the red bars were mostly well behaved but a few did have an issue.  It wasn't terrible but there were a few that just did not want to agree.  Again I would recommend using clippers to trim the ends that stand up.  I only used one coat over top Sinful Colors Nirvana.  I did not trim them for the photos.

Next up is Stars and Stripes Forever.  I initially thought this one was going to be my favorite but the bars again reared their ugly heads.  Stars and Stripes Forever is a great combination of red, white, and blue glitter.  The bars in this one was worse than the ones in Semper Fidelis and the only reason I could come up with is maybe this one had been mixed a little longer.  I still like the combination in this one just a little extra time needs to be given when applying.  I again used just one coat overtop Sinful Colors Black On Black and did not trim the red bars for the photos.

Why of why will bar glitter play nice?!  I love the way they look but when in a hurry I don't have time to trim the ends. :P  So what is your guys opinions on bar glitter?  Love/hate relationship too?   Again Ashley is so sorry if any of you are experiencing the same issues.  She is working to find what went wrong with these guys and to find an appropriate replacement.  She will be more than happy to replace your bottle is yours is affected.
