Different Dimension Holiday Polish

Hello everyone!  Today I have some more awesome polish from Different Dimension.  Missi has out done herself again with another amazing collection.  The three I have to show today are Hurry Down The Chimney Tonight, Think of All the Fellas That I Haven't Kissed, and Christmahanakwanzika (did I spell that right?).  All of them are packed with glitter, go on flawless, and are just perfect.

First up I would like to show you Hurry Down The Chimney Tonight.  This one is filled with various white and red glitter with a clear base.  The fun shapes remind me peppermint bark.  I paired this one with Spoiled by Wet n Wild Permission To Proceed.  The bright green was the perfect background for the unique shaped glitter.

Next up I have Think Of All The Fellas That I Haven't Kissed.  This one is packed with small purple and blue glitter.  I used a Julep Renee as a base and then applied just one coat of Kissed.  Glitter distribution was perfect!

I love the light purple base.  The glitter really stand out well.

Lastly I have Christmahanakwanzika.  Wow, I think she named that one as a joke for the bloggers.... that's tough to spell correctly.  That aside, the name is prefect for this blend.  It really does have all the colors to cover Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. Again packed with glitter and makes for a perfect top coat.  I paired it with Julep Kate and it ended up having a Jawbreaker look to it.

Love it over white.

It looks like candy!

I've said it once, I'll say it again, I love Different Dimensions.  All of the polish I own from Missi has been perfect!  Now before I leave you I want to bring up one more item from Different Dimensions.  They sell cuticle balm sticks that are must have with the cold months ahead.  I pick one up when I ordered Horde and Murloc about a month ago.  After a month of use I have noticed a huge difference and even have my husband on it now.  The stick makes it super easy to carry on the go and a no mess application.  My next order I place I will certainly stock up on these, especially the Birthday Cake scent mmmmmm.  Have a great day and I'll see you guys tomorrow.

Etsy Shop of the Week: Glitzology

Hello everyone!  Long time no see.  Sorry I wasn't around last week, I was in a funk and super busy.  I am back and ready to show you guys some super awesome polish from Glitzology.  This is a really new shop and already is making their mark in the polish world.  They have super cute blends at crazy, cheap prices.  Today I have three different blends to show you.

I guess subconsciously I went patriotic with my selections.

These bottles are packed with glitter!

First up is Snow Day.  This one surprised me and ended up being my favorite out of the group.  Snow Day is packed with various white and iridescent glitters and has a iridescent blue tinted base.  I paired this one with Bluey from butter London and needless to say it is perfect!

I swear I have wrapping paper that looks just like this.

I love the metallic blue finish!

Next up is Little Red Corvette.  Who doesn't love Prince?!  I had to have one from the "Artist Formally Known As..." collection.  Little Red Corvette is a red jelly base filled with tons of different size and shape red glitter.  This polish was so packed with glitter  that it was a little troublesome to apply.  It only took two coats to get a opaque finish with the base color but the glitter was heavier in some areas so you will need to work with it a little to get even glitter placement.

I love the color!

Again only two coats, great coverage and tons of glitter.

Last up is My Viking Boyfriend.  This one is another glitter bomb.  It is filled with more blue and silver glitter than you could ever imagine.  I love the colors and the silver holographic glitter add an extra little sparkle.

Three coats and solid coverage.

It kinda looks like ground up gems on my fingers.

I look forward to seeing what Glitzology produces in the coming months.  I think there is great potential with this company to produce to amazing stuff.  Head on over and check out all of her other awesome blends and be sure to use code VIKINGBIRTHDAY25 to get 25% off your order.  I hope you all have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow with some more awesome indie polish.

Julep Morgan and China Glaze Glitter Goblin

Hello everyone!  So who is super excited for Halloween?  I know I am and the next few days I will try to share some more festive nails.  Today I have Julep Morgan and China Glaze Glitter Goblin.  The Julep I received in this months Trick or Treat mystery box and the China Glaze I pick up in a four pack Halloween Set at Sally's.

Morgan is a very rich purple with a metallic finish.  Personally, I probably wouldn't wear it by itself but as a base it is awesome.  Application was reasonable with only two coats for full coverage.

Next, Glitter Goblin.  This one is part of China Glaze's Halloween line and I am so glad I got my hands on this one.  It is packed with a burnt orange glitter and silver holographic glitter.  Super shiny and goes on great.  I only used one coat in this mani so I think this bottle will last me a long time.

So there you go, simple Halloween nails for when you are in a hurry up and go situation.  I really look forward to seeing all the different Halloweeny nails over the next few days.  I can't wait to see you guys again and hope you all have a wonderful day!

Different Dimension

Hello everyone!  I am super excited to show you guys this new polish I got from Different Dimension.  Took a few weeks but I finally have Horde!  As soon as I saw the limited WoW set, I wanted this one.  This stuff is perfect in every way possible.  Looking back on it I should have bought a back up bottle.

Horde is everything I wanted it to be and more.  Horde is a black jelly base filled with fine holographic glitter and larger red and holographic hexes.  With such an amazing blend and tons of sparkle, I am sure I will wear this one a lot.  Horde was a limited polish that is no longer available but if you see it being sold second hand, buy it!  Trust me, you won't regret it.

Horde

Poor close up, with so many labels it's hard to get a good shot.

Love it!

It took three coats to get this finish.  Next time I'll try it with a black base.

I love it as much as I thought I would.  I also grabbed up a bottle of Murloc that I will be showing you guys soon.  Big thanks to my sister, I used my birthday money she gave me to buy these two plus some cuticle balm from Different Dimension.  Hope you all have a great day and I will see you tomorrow with my pink nails.

Go Pink On Wednesday

Hello everyone! I hope all has been well with you guys. Today I have another set of pink nails for you guys. Today I have went with L'Oreal Penthouse Pink and Rainbow Honey Pinkie Promise. First up is Penthouse Pink.

I bought Penthouse Pink back before Easter for a good pastel pink. The color is exactly that and application is okay. Nothing special but a great base.

Penthouse Pink

Two coats gets a good even coverage.

Next up is Rainbow Honey's Pinkie Promise. I saw tons of hype about this brand and lots of people lusting after this blend so I had to give it a try. I purchased it second hand, it had been used once for swatching and this is a mini bottle. That being said, I HATE this bottle! I wouldn't recommend purchasing the mini form. To me it was a real pain to get enough polish on the brush to do one nail  I had to tip the bottle over every time to get the smallest amount on there  The formula was okay and glitter coverage was great.

You can see the bottle is almost full and was still a nightmare to work with.

This is packed with glitter though.
This was one coat of Pinkie Promise.

This really just reminds me of a 6 years olds princess birthday party.

I was somewhat let down with the Pinkie Promise, I guess the hype had me expecting something amazing. If you like pink and lots of glitter then I say go for it, just buy the full size bottle. I look forward to trying out the 20% Cooler since blue is my favorite color.

I hope you all have a wonderful evening and I look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow I have Different Dimensions tomorrow..... I finally got Horde! Good night!
