Emerald & Ash Semper Fidelis and Stars and Stripes Forever
Hello everyone! I hope all has been well with you guys! Today I have two more blends to share from Emerald & Ash. Both of these are part of their Armed Forces Collection and are wonderful combinations. I have had a few more issues with pesky bars but that's expected from those guys.

Orly Monster Mash
Good evening everyone! I have an amazing polish to share with you guys that is just perfect for St. Patty's Day or any day you want something simply perfect. I had wanted this polish for months and finally snagged it during one of Sally's wonderful 50% Clearance weekends, less than $2! Over the past few months I have became a pretty big fan of Orly products and certainly look forward to owning more. Enough blabbing and on to the polish.

Week 2 Challenge: Blue
Good evening everyone. Tonight I am showing you guys my week 2 challenge, blue. I love blue and have just about every shade. This week I received a lovely care package from my Redditgifts exchange and she bought me a ton of more blue polish! I love blue and can find the slightest different between each one. One of the colors she got me was Sinful Colors Cinderella. I have been wanting this polish but every time I check my local Walgreens, they are sold out. Thanks to her I finally have a bottle. If you are lucky enough to find it, I would say buy it. It is so pretty and the name suits it perfectly. Cinderella is a super soft blue with the prettiest mother of pearl like shimmer to it.
Cinderella is very pretty on it's own but I wanted to add a little extra sparkle. Julep Portia was the perfect companion. Portia is a light blue tinted base with iridescent glitter. Portia seemed like the perfect companion to Cinderella.
So there you go, a lovely blue to wear just about anywhere. Hope to see you guys tomorrow for my Wednesday pink nails. Until then have a great evening!

Macro is a little blurry to show the pretty flakes
It did take me three coats to get full coverage.

52 Week Challenge: Week 4 Gradient or Ombre
Hello everyone! Hope you guys are having an amazing day! Today I have my Week 4 challenge, gradient or ombre. I have never personally done an ombre pattern where each nail is a different color, so I picked this option for my challenge. The obvious color choice was blue and it turned out awesome.
It actually took me some time to pick out the perfect colors. I would pick one but as soon as I paired it with the other color choices I would notice one had more purple or green tints. I ended up with 5 lovely blue colors that worked perfectly with each other.
Icing J'adore, Julep Claire, Sinful Colors Why Not, Finger Paints Inkblot Blue, and Julep Eloise
I was pretty happy with the results but me being me, I wanted something else. All of the polishes were a cream base but had a finish shine difference. Solution.....matte it! I recently acquired the Butter London Matte Finish but hadn't had a chance to use it yet, here was my opportunity.
I love it! The colors mate even better now. The Butter London matte went on super smooth and dried surprisingly quick. My pinky nail looked almost black before but adding the matte brought the blue tones out better.
Butter London Matte Finish
I am glad I have this blog to make note of this color combo because I will certainly use again. The colors worked great together and the matte was an awesome finish touch. I hope you guys are enjoying the 52 Week Challenge, I know I am! Have a great day everyone and I'll see you soon.

Nail-Venturous Floam and Sinful Colors Rise and Shine
Good evening everyone! Hope all is well with you wonderful ladies. Tonight I have for you the infamous Floam by Nail-Venturous. After a few months of patiently waiting I finally got my hands on some Floam. My first time using I was somewhat disappointed, the blend is really thick and takes a lot of coats to get full coverage. I actually considered trading it off but someone on another board suggested a base coat so I started looking for the perfect base coat. I didn't want a base that was going to take away from the beauty of the polish itself, but something that mated perfectly with it. I think I have found it. Even when my sister was in town visiting she picked the perfect duo for her mani.
Okay first up is the base. I use Sinful Colors Rise and Shine. Since this is a base that will mostly be hid by polish you will not need more than one coat. Personally the color on its own is pretty boring and has a terrible matte finish. Floam brings out the beauty in this one.

This is one coat. It is not perfect but will look great with Floam.
Eh, nothing special.
Now this is where the magic happens. The teal base of Rise and Shine mixes perfectly with the teal and yellow glitter in Floam. With this combo I only had to use two coats of Floam to get a perfect finish. You know what that means..... I can get way more use out of my precious Floam.

Only two coats of Floam!
I love it! They were truly made for each other.
Sinful Colors can be picked up at Walgreens and be sure to check for the popular 99¢ sale. Floam is a little harder to get your hands on but Ninja Polish makes it a little easier. You can sign up for a friendly reminder on restocks of your most desired blend. I have my heart set on the next Humble Bee restock.
Thanks for stopping this evening! I hope you guys enjoyed my little pics and I look forward to seeing you guys again real soon.

Sunset Nails by Siobhann
Tonight I have a super cute walk through to create sunset nails. Siobhann has some of the cutest nail art and I just had to share. I hope to bring more features of her nail art in the future. If this is something you guys would like to see more of just let me know.
With this color we needed to go with two coats to get a good vibrant yellow. Do you see the sunset yet? Next up is Tapping Nails.
With a fresh clean make up sponge Siobhann dabbed the color on leaving just a small amount of the yellow showing. Now she did clean up before taking this photo by just using a q-tip and a small amount of non-acetone remover. I see the sunset forming! Now for the last color in the sunset is Sally Hansen HD Digital.
Again used a make up sponge and dabbed the Digital on. You do not need to use much polish. Here is a pic of the make up sponge used.
This was used for both hands. You don't need much at all so be careful. I would recommend using a sheet of paper to practice before trying just to be safe. I would hate for you to glob paint on to a perfect base and give up hope. Now for the finish product.......
Isn't that the cutest nails ever! She used her nail art pen to draw some awesome palm trees to finish up the sunset look. Again take your time and you could easily pull this off. Makes me want a frozen drink with an umbrella.
Thanks for stopping by this evening and hope you enjoyed the little walkthrough. With patients and practice you can pull this off just in time for those end of summer parties. Good evening everyone!
For the sunset nails we used a total of four colors. We have Sinful Colors Let's Meet and Tapping Nails, Sally Hansen HD Digital, and a black nail are pen. First up we use the Sinful Colors Let Meet.
