Etsy Shop of the Week: Little Lazies

Good evening everyone!  I am back again tonight to show you guys a super awesome Etsy shop.  Little Lazies is an amazing shop that has just exploded in the past few months.  I wanted to do this feature sooner but I didn't want to ruin someone's Christmas gifts... hehehe!  Little Lazies has some of the cutes clay sculptures ever!  She sold out of her Christmas themed Lazies within minutes of release and I am sure her Valentines ones will also.  She made mention that they will be available next month so I recommend following her Facebook page for up to date stocking levels.

Nailgasm Snow Flurious

Good morning everyone! I just had to share one of my new blends this morning from Nailgasm.  I reviewed some of her polish and I loved it, so I had to have some more.  If you remember in my review I didn't care to much for the bottle, it was a bit cumbersome to use.  At the time she was working on getting new bottles and they are absolutely fabulous.  Today's blend is a great wintery blend that is low key enough that you could wear anywhere.

My First Set of Holiday Nails and Giveaway from Joby

Hello everyone!  Well today is officially the start to the most awesome month of the year!  It's Christmas time and that means tons of holiday inspire manis.  Today I am going to share a set of nails that I did to celebrate this wonderful month.  I love snowmen so I figured that would be the best way to kick off the month.  You know what's even better...... a free set of decals for you too!  First the pics....

To achieve my first set of holiday nails I used my much loved Icing J'adore, Savvy Touch of Glitter, and two decals from my Joby Christmas nail stickers.  I am a huge fan of decals.  They are always super easy to use and are great when you are in a hurry but want that extra oomph.  To apply stickers I use a set of tweezers and gently place on my nail.  Slightly press the sticker on to the nail to position and keep in place.  I then follow up with a clear top coat to smooth things out.  Be sure your polish is dry or you may end up pulling your polish around when placing sticker.

There are sooo many cute stickers!

The sticker had a glitter finish to it that matched perfectly to my Touch of Glitter by Savvy.

Come on, isn't he the cutest?!

Awwwwwww!

Now Joby was nice enough to send me an extra set of stickers and discount code to share with one of my readers.  I think these would be perfect for a great Valentine inspired mani or any other times you wanted to share your love with the world.

To enter all you have to do is leave a comment in this post.  I will then pick a number by random and which ever comment that matches to will win.  Easy enough.  Just be sure you are a follower of my blog and this contest is open to my international followers too.  I will run this contest until Dec. 5th.  Good luck ladies!  Also don't forget to enter for this months Super Awesome Indie Christmas Giveaway and be sure to stop by tomorrow to see one of the shops that donated as my Etsy feature.  Have a great day everyone!

Etsy Shop Of The Week: Daily Lacquer

Good evening everyone!  I have another great shop to share with you guys.  Tonight I am showing you three lovely blends from Daily Lacquer. Daily Lacquer opened up just this month but I must say with the ones I have tried, she has a great future ahead of her.

First up I would like to share Ami from the Lovely Moon Collection.  You all know I have a weakness for blue so when I saw this one I just had to have it.  It does not disappoint.  There are so many unique shapes and colors in a wonderful blue base that I just can't find the words to describe it.  I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I truly love this color!

I went with three coats for this finish.

Now Maggy at Daily Lacquer was also super kind and sent me two mini bottles of her upcoming Christmas polish inspired by Elf.  Two totally different blends and both equally awesome.  First I am going to show you Buddy.  Buddy is a green base filled with many different size and shapes of gold glitter.  The two colors work beautifully together and only took two coats to get full coverage.

Again, only two coats!

I love how the green also gives the glitter a yellow look.

Last up is Maple Syrup.  This one is a glitter topper that has endless possibilities.  It is a clear base filled with different shades of brown glitter and in various sizes.  I decided to pair this one with Zoya Ginessa to give a tasty and wintery feel.

Just one coat for amazing glitter coverage.

So what do you guys think? Looks like another awesome shop to me with a very promising future.  Be sure to check out Daily Lacquer on Etsy and follow her on Facebook for up to date info and release info for the Elf collection.  Be sure to keep an eye out here for an amazing giveaway that starts later this week and maybe you to will take home some Elf inspired polish.  Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to seeing you guys real soon.

Some of the polishes in this post were sent to me for review purposes but do not influence my post.

butter London and Julep American the Beautiful

Good evening everyone!  I wanted to share my patriotic mani with you guys this evening.  Between elections and veterans day I wanted to show my pride in our wonderful country.  I used butter London Pillar Box Red and Julep America the Beautiful and the combination is perfect.

I used butter London as my base color. Application was smooth and got full coverage in two coats.  The red is super bright cream red but a little to red for me.  It really needs a top coat to tone down the color.

America the Beautiful is a rich red glitter with a splash of silver and blue glitter and then topped off with silver stars.  This one was in my July maven box but showed up after the fourth, so I had yet to wear it.  I only needed one coat to get full, even coverage.  The colors are absolutely beautiful and the stars add a fun element to the polish.

I hope you enjoyed the patriotic mani.  If you are interested in being a Julep Maven just click on the icon in the upper right hand portion of my page and they will walk you through the process.  Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you guys again real soon.

China Glaze Polarized

Good afternoon!  Hope you guys are doing great!  Today I have China Glaze Polarized from the Prismatic collection to share with you guys.  I pick this one up a few months ago off the amazing Sally's clearance rack for less than $2.  This one is pretty much a glitter bomb so I would recommend using the Elmer's glue base coat method.

Polarized is a heavy silver glitter base with multi colored glitter scattered about.  Application was great and I used just two coats.  The color itself was actually kinda plain so I added some nail glitter I picked up from Berry's Creations.  The added glitter gave it some extra sparkle that made me want to go roller skating for some odd reason.

So there you go.  Be sure to keep an eye out at the clearance bins, you never know what you will find.  Hope you all have a great evening and I'll see you next time.
